Times have changed

I no longer feel like I need to cover each and every single piece of alternative news out there. I’m almost.. bored of it. That’s why I’ve decided that in the coming months I will shut down Double Dance. But I won’t be done with music. No no I’m still in love with the sound.

Superseding my two year-long website will be a new project, currently untitled, that will essentially be the same as Double Dance, but in a webcast/podcast/radio/streaming/whatever format, and wouldn’t just cover alternative/poppunk/screamo/indie music, it’d be more of a generalized modern rock genre. Think Alternative Press and Rolling Stone and ChartAttack. I don’t want to be limited to the alternative genre.

My goal is to have segments in the show, with different people. Interviews, Reviews, News recap, Artist Tips, Entire song streams, a kind of ‘On this day in music’ look back thing, Showcasing new artists, etc. I want to cover it all.

The webcast (I hope) should come out every two weeks, be around 10-15 minutes long (although longer is better), and should have segments with guys and girls on various topics, to make it diverse.

If you, or anyone you know, is interested in having a section of the webcast to talk and do your own thing, or if you just want to contribute your voice to some commercials/jingles, please get in touch with me! If I can, I will help you out for things you’ll need (mics, recorder). So, who’s in?
